You know that warm cultural bath? Where the smell of the food hugs you before you are through the door. Where your grandma makes that family dish, like the pastechi that flew over the counter like warm rolls at every family gathering of mine. Where nobody ever went home hungry and everyone left with full Tupperware boxes. Where the music shakes the walls, you dance your way in and you never leave the floor.
Belly round from the food. Aching legs from the dancing. A hoarse voice from the singing. Goosebump moments that catch you off guard. And your tears of joy.

Your traditions are sacred, including the ones I am still learning. I listen to your parents and grandparents and I give every culture the space it deserves. Respect is written into my terms: I do not tolerate racism or discrimination from anyone.
