The mother and woman
behind R1VERS.
Born and raised in beautiful Delft, where my family and I happily moved back in 2024. As a child I was curious, chatty and every now and then up on a stage. My mother gave me that creativity and I have held on to it ever since.
My love for (cultural) events started at the Rotterdam Summer Carnival. I grew up with it, cheering from the sidelines with my family. At 12 my moment came: I walked in the parade for the first time with Stims & Friends. In 2014 I ran in the Queen election and finished fourth. The most beautiful costume and the most beautiful float? Those went home with our team. The stage taught me that you are allowed to be there, even when you take up space. And that from there you connect with the crowd around you.

During ceremonies the tears flow freely. A discreet dab at the corner of my eye will never keep up. Those emotions are welcome here. As long as you feel heard, seen and loved.
I am a walking diary. Names, birthdays, old memories you would rather forget. I can recall every one of them. I remember the words and the smallest details and I carry them with me, deeply cherished, in my heart.
When nobody is looking, I stand still to really take the wedding in. The laughter at the speeches, the first dance, the cultural traditions. Most of all I love seeing people kick off their shoes and let go com-plete-ly, as if nobody is watching. The happiness of others is what makes my work so precious and so fulfilling.

R1VERS is my surname and my heritage. I carry my name with pride. The emblem echoes the flow of a river, graceful and elegant, the soft side of my character. It matters deeply to me that you feel heard, seen and loved.
The 1 stands for you: whoever is with me in that moment comes first. Full focus, all in.
And after all, there is only 1 Presha Rivers.
My mission is to build a flowing bridge for bicultural couples, mixed couples and subcultures that rarely get a stage. Together, as one. At events the exact same formula applies. I work for people and companies who truly carry their culture and story and want to see it lead their event.

Your traditions are sacred, including the ones I am still learning. I listen to your parents and grandparents and I give every culture the space it deserves. Respect is written into my terms: I do not tolerate racism or discrimination from anyone.
Trust
What you share with me stays with me. I am honest about what is possible, even when that is uncomfortable. You always know where you stand.
