Who I am

R1VERS is the business of Presha Rivers, Wedding & Event Artist from Delft, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42118832. I am responsible for the personal data that comes in through this website. Questions about your data go to presha@r1vers.com.

What data I process

When you fill in the contact form, I receive your name, your email address, the type of event or your wedding date if you add it, how you found R1VERS if you choose an option, and the message you write. I also see whether you used the Dutch or the English page, so I can reply in your language. If you email me directly or message me on Instagram, I receive whatever you share there.

If you agree to analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects data about your visit. Think of the pages you view, how long you stay, your type of device and browser, and your rough location at country or city level. Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses.

I never ask for sensitive personal data. If you choose to share something personal in your story, such as your faith or your cultural background, I only use it to understand your day properly.

Why and on what basis

I use your contact details to answer your message, plan a discovery call and make you a proposal. How you found R1VERS only tells me which channels work. The legal basis is that you reach out to me yourself with a possible booking in mind. If you become a client, I process your data to carry out our agreement and to keep the records the law requires.

I use analytics data to see how the website is used and where it can be better. That only happens with your consent. I use no advertising cookies and share no data for advertising.

How long I keep data

If your message does not lead to a booking, I delete your data no later than twelve months after our last contact. If you become a client, I keep the data that belongs in my records for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires. Google Analytics keeps user level data for fourteen months at most.

Who I share data with

I never sell your data. I do work with a few service providers that make the website and my email possible. They only process data on my instructions.

• Vercel hosts the website.
• Resend delivers messages from the contact form to my inbox.
• Google provides Google Analytics, only if you consent to it.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers happen under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

Cookies

On your first visit I ask whether analytics cookies are okay with you. Without your consent this site places no Google cookies. Google then only receives a cookieless signal that the page was visited. These are the cookies and storage the site uses.

You can change your choice at any time in the cookie settings. If you withdraw your consent, I remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

Your rights

You may view your data, have it corrected or have it deleted. You can object to the processing, have it restricted and request your data to take with you. Send your request to presha@r1vers.com and I will respond within a month, usually much sooner.

Not happy with how I handle your data? Let me know first. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

The whole website runs over a secure connection. Messages from the contact form are not stored in a database on the website. They go straight to my inbox.

Changes

If anything changes in how I process data, I update this statement. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
